66 West

This photograph was taken on the old Chain Of Rocks bridge in St. Louis, MO. Highway 66 once crossed this bridge which is now used as a pedestrian bridge. A visit here is like a walk through the past with great views of the Mississippi River and the natural rock formation for which the bridge is named after. Also at this location are two water intake towers built in the late 1800's and early 1900's.
